For this series I made a variety of optical devices (water lenses, kaleidoscopes, concave mirrors, etc.) then shot video and still photos through these devices. Then I edited the resulting video together and, for some of the pieces, projected it onto screens I had made specifically for each video.

The project was about how light changes in a landscape over time, i.e. how different summer light looks from winter light, how light changes from morning to evening, etc. It was also about keeping the color and light in landscapes while distorting recognizable elements.
